I’m at a point in my life where I believe everything is about to start heading north. I’ve been freelancing as a digital marketer for almost 3 years now. Before that my only other day jobs were in sales & management.
Tbh, I started freelancing because I thought it was a good way to make money and get rich quick. I was slightly wrong. I say slightly because, I made enough money to be free from a day job, but not enough to come close to become rich.
What freelancing did show me is; I love digital marketing and the endless data turns me on.
Freelancing also showed me that I can’t ignore my love for fashion and creation. I currently own 5 eCommerce stores and I just released a clothing brand (Jacemade) which makes 6. I created all the clothing on my eCommerce stores and shipped them using a drop shipping company in California. Creating these products and sharing them with the world has proven to be a serious addiction of mine which is why I said freelancing showed me that I can’t ignore my love for fashion and creation.
The reason I decided to document my journey is because 5 years from now I want to look back at this moment and tell people I was right. I work for everything I have; my car, food, clothing, deodorant & everything else. The only thing I don’t currently pay is rent, thankfully my mom handles that. Think about all the great people who talk about all the things they did when they started their journey, the struggles they endured. Now imagine how insane would it be to see the entire journey instead.
Stop and think about all the great people who talk about things they did when they started their journey, the struggles they endured and their accomplishments. Now imagine how insane would it be to see their entire journey instead.
That feeling you just felt right there is the reason I decided to document my life.
I have chosen the self-branding route and named my digital marketing agency Jace Metrics. My ultimate goal between now and the next 10 years is the be know as the number digital marketing agency in the world. My other goals are to grow both Jace Metrics & Jacemade to $1 Million dollars in annual revenue within the next 5 years.
That would make me a 26-year-old millionaire, but I’m not doing this for money.
I’m doing this for legacy.
P.S. I have not made any edits to this because 5,10,20 years from now I want to look back on this day to see exactly where my mindset. Raw, with no edits.
